McCager (pronounced McKAY-jer) is the 2023 Allie Award recipient for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical by the Northwest Mississippi Theater Alliance for his portrayal of Nemo, Finding Nemo, JR., Kudzu Playhouse. He was also awarded for Best Performance by a Young Actor (12 & Under) for the same role.
In 2024 McCager appeared for 6 weeks as Charlie Bucket in the regional theatre premiere of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at The Playhouse on the Square in Memphis.
He is the 2024 Orpheum-Memphis High School Musical Theatre Awards Bravo Award winner for young actors for his Lewisburg High School performance of Young Will in Big Fish: School Edition
McCager Carver will appear this summer in The Warehouse Theatre's first main stage production, Seussical as Jojo.
He recently appeared in Junie B.’s Essential Survival Guide to School (Sheldon Potts) with The Warehouse Theatre. And he was a featured soloist (Consider Yourself) in DeSoto Family Theatre’s Raise Your Voice Broadway Junior Revue.

In addition to performing, McCager enjoys aerial arts classes, playing the violin, rollerblading, swimming, and theme parks!
He's an avid reader, sings in the children's choir at church, and absolutely adores his two sisters.
